      Freda Bright says, "Only in opera do people die of love." It's true. You really can't love somebody to death. I've known people to die from no love, but I've never known anyone to be loved to death. We just can't love one another enough.

A heart-warming story tells of a woman who finally decided to ask her boss for a raise in salary. All day she felt nervous and apprehensive. Late in the afternoon she summoned the courage to approach her employer. To her delight, the boss agreed to a raise.

        有一个感人的故事，讲的是有个女人终于决定去向老板提出加薪的要求。她一整天都焦虑不安。下午晚些时候，她鼓起勇气向老板提议。让她感到高兴的是，老板同意给她加薪。

The woman arrived home that evening to a beautiful table set with their best dishes. Candles were softly glowing. Her husband had come home early and prepared a festive meal. 　　To host the Olympic Games is a long-cherished dream of the Chinese people. It is the shared aspiration and firm resolve of the Chinese government and people to stage a high standard Olympic Games with distinctive features in Beijing. Today, the much anticipated Olympic flame has arrived in Beijing and reached out to the peace-loving and friendly Chinese people. From here, we will pass the Olympic flame, a symbol of peace, friendship and progress, to the people across 5 continents and to the 1.3 billon Chinese people.

Today we have gathered here with much anticipation and excitement to herald the arrival of the Olympic flame and launch the torch relay for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. The sacred Olympic flame is the symbol of the Olympic spirit. It embodies hope and dream, light and joy, and friendship and peace. Now the Olympic flame has brought the noble Olympic spirit to China. The burning Olympic flame will spread the massage of peace and friendship and collect all people on the “One World, One Dream”. As the outset of this ceremony today, I wish to extend on behalf of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the 29th Olympiad our heartfelt thanks to the Greek government, the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the Greek people. I want to thank you for your thoughtful arrangement for the Olympic flame lighting ceremony and your tremendous efforts in organizing of the torch relay event. Throughout the preparations for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, we have also enjoyed full support and assistance of the International Olympic Committee. Under its meticulous guidance all our preparatory work has reflected the Olympic purposes and principles, carried forward the Olympic spirit, disseminated the Olympic knowledge and advanced the Olympic movement. So here let me take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks to the International Olympic Committee.

　　The journey of harmony which will last 130 days will pass through 5 continents and all the province level localities on China’s mainland. It will also travel to Mt. Jolmo Lungma, the world’s highest peak. All cities of the torch relay both on and outside China’s mainland have made full preparations and laid a solid foundation for the smooth conduct of the torch relay. Here I would like to extend, on behalf of BOCOG, our heartfelt thanks to all the torch relay cities for the efforts they have made.

　　The arrival of the Olympic flame in China marks the official prelude to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. There are 130 days to go before the Beijing Olympic Games will open. Under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee and the State Counsel and with the goal of staging a high level Olympic Games with distinctive features in mind, we need to fully apply the Scientific Outlook on Development, put into practice the 3 Major Ideas of Green Olympics, High-tech Olympics and People’s Olympics, make full preparations and work hard with every enthusiasm to ensure the excellence of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and make it a grand event which promotes great mutual understanding and friendly cooperation between the Chinese people and people around the world. 　　All along the relay route people will be touched by the magic of the Olympic Games and what it represents. 凡是上课的时候，教师要特别注重导言，力求生动，结合学习目标的呈现，给学生留下悬念，好的导言会激发学生的学习兴趣，使一堂课出现一个好的开端。

呈现学习目标要准确全面，方法要得当，注意知识与技能，过程与方法和情感与价值观的统一，要吃透教材，抓住重点难点，在学习某一学科、某一单元，某一课时，要注意“知识树”的出现，让学社观念在学习具体内容之前，先对这部分知识有一个纲领性的、大致轮廓的印象，这样，学生观念对目标的印象会更深刻，知道应当学什么，怎么学。

在传授知识的过程上，要改变过去以教师讲、学生听为主的方式，对于绝大多数课来说，必须采取先让学生在教师的指导下，自学或小组合作交流学习的方式进行。

好的提纲是很关键的，编制提纲是要从所传授知识的全局着眼，说课、备课时要反复研究，根据学生的情况，该细则细，该简则简，既能突出重点，又能突破难点。提纲要体现学法指导，有必要的动词作引领，让学生一目了然就明确怎么学。提纲的设置要有利于教师检查学生学不学，学得怎么样，要针对各类学生作不同要求，使全体学生都能根据自己的情况有效的学习。

学生自学时，教师要多巡视，适时进行个别点拨，要及时督促成绩差的学生积极参与学习，对于自学时发现的问题，教师要记在心间，个别学生存在的问题，可以在小组交流时解决，共性的难题，才由教师来解答。学生通过自学或交流已经懂得的知识，教师就不再讲了，教师讲的时候，只讲学生自学中存在的难点，强调本节课重点和知识链。

学生自学过程不能松弛，要紧张有序，积极踊跃，气氛高涨，兴趣浓厚。学后教师的导，要与教师学前的引入相互照应，使知识成为一个体系而不零乱。

要有充足的时间进行练习，练习要当堂完成，课上的习题要精选，要分层布置，优者快做多做，练一些拓展、拔高的题目，使优者更优，查生做一些必要的简单题目，要先让学生独立完成，遇到问题先让过去，小组交流时互相检查，由学生讲解不会的题目，教师在做练习期间巡视辅导时，要发现问题，可以提示，但不要给出答案，有什么共性的疑难问题，记在心里，订正问题时才能准确知道该订正那些题目，防止偏离。

如果学生把必要的练习和习题都弄明白了，这节课的任务就完成了，堂堂清的目标就实现了。

编后语：作为教育工作者，要有一个追求的教育目标，与其平淡无为，墨守成规，不如大胆实践，勇于创新，努力干出点名堂来，也算对人生和事业的一点贡献。随着课程改革的深入，学洋思的意义更加重要。观念不更新，方法不改变，则教师没有发展，学校没有前途。学洋思三字诀是对几年来对学洋思经验的具体总结，也是对我校教师课堂教学的基本要求，希望每一个任课教师认真学习领会，切实落到课堂教学的实处，并在实践中加以完善。

1、选择小开间、坚固家具旁就地躲藏；

2、伏而待定，蹲下或坐下，尽量蜷曲身体，降低身体重心；

3、抓住桌腿等牢固的物体；

4、保护头颈、眼睛，扼住掩住口鼻；

5、避开人流，不要乱挤乱拥，不要随便点明火，因为空气中可能有易燃易爆气体。

6、不要停留在过街天桥、立交桥的上面和下方。

7、注意躲开广告牌、街灯、物料堆放处。

8、要躲开建筑物，特别是有玻璃幕墙的高大建筑。

9、燃气泄漏时：用湿毛巾捂住口、鼻，千万不要使用明火，震后设法转移。

10、遇到火灾时：趴在地上，用湿毛巾捂住口、鼻。地震停止后向安全地方转移，要匍匐、逆风而进。

11、毒气泄漏时：遇到化工厂着火，毒气泄漏，不要向顺风方向跑，要尽量绕到上风方向去

I.基础知识部分:

　　英语中有关的基础知识纷杂细碎,是个长期的学习和积累的过程,主要包括词法和句法。词法有词的读音(重音不同，词义有变)、词的记忆、词性变换、词的用法、词的搭配、一词多义、词义辨析以及熟词生义等; 句法包括句型(习惯表达)、句子结构等。在平时的学习中, 对于重点词汇一定要把上述各项搞清楚，做到心中有数。

　　养成词不离句的好习惯：对一词多义(或词的用法或词义辨析时), 一定要重视例句, 把体现该词用法的例句反复读背, 和以前见过的例句进行分析对比, 不断揣摩它的用法, 领悟它在不同句子中的含义,争取对该词的各种意义和用法都有一个清晰的了解。

　　1、建立自己的错题库：把平时出现的错题一一记录下来(分类最好), 记下正误答案和出错原因, 不断翻看,或利用早自习时间大声地朗读正确的句子, 这样既能熟悉句子结构,也是培养语感的好方法.记录错题一定要坚持,随时剔除已掌握的或把还在出错的题重点标记, 这样你的知识网络就越来越密;考前翻看错题本,你就不会再心中没底; 另外它在复习总结中也可起到重要作用。

　　2、对待词汇的记忆, 要利用零散的时间如课前课后5分钟，或去食堂操场的路上,或写在纸条上手上, 各个击破.零碎的时间犹如散落到地上的金子, 谁随手捡起,谁最终就会成为一个大富翁。

　　3、注意勤翻字典,注意熟词生义：要养成随时查阅字典的习惯,不仅可以让你对某一个词有透彻的了解,而且无形中也会扩大词汇量。近几年的高考阅读中, 常出现一些学过的单词, 但却是考查它课本以外的意义, 如: interest----利益;利息；mind-----在乎;照管 ( Most people don’t seem to mind Allan.) ；in time-----后来( Don’t worry---I’m sure things will get better in time.) ；save----- 避免( Most of us tell much the same white lies, harmless untruths that help to save trouble.) ；state----阐明;陈述( The author states that…)等。

　　4、多读多背课文：教材中的课文都是精心挑选和修改的英语语言的精华, 是非常规范的英语。每学完一篇课文,将文章中体现一定结构和用法的句子以及文中新出现的词组及搭配划出,在理解全文的基础上进行背诵;高三时间紧张了,全文背诵来不及,就重点对划线的句子进行背诵;而且,还要注意消化吸收,在平时的做题阅读及写作时有意识地运用,让它变成自己的东西。多读多背也是培养语感的途径之一。

　　II. 建立语法体系

　　学习语法很重要,因为语法是从语言中总结提炼出的规律, 按规律去进行语言实践会有所遵循,事半功倍。如果说词汇是建造高楼的砖瓦, 那么语法就是粘结砖瓦的水泥。但学习语法不能靠死记硬背, 记一些规律是必要的, 但更重要的是理解, 只有理解方能正确灵活运用,如时态问题, 一定要放在具体的语境中讨论才有实际意义。另外,学习语法不要抠的太死, 有些习惯表达是不能用语法来套的。对于高考的热点语法项目,如时态, 非谓语,三大从句(定从 ,名从,状从) 情态动词等要做到条理清晰, 并附以一定量的练习。学习语法不是目的,只是一种手段, 重要的是如何运用。

　　III. 阅读方面:

　　有了一定的词汇和语法基础, 就应该进行大量的阅读。阅读固然讲究技巧,但只有通过多读,能力才会提高, “读书百遍其义自现”就是这个道理。谁对文章的感受力越强, 得出的答案就越准确。阅读能力提高了, 其他方面如完形,改错等自然就水涨船高。

　　近几年的高考阅读, 文章体裁题材广泛, 内容变化多样, 话题紧扣时代节拍。如03年阅读涉及历史地理( 地域简介),研究发现,新书介绍,外来语对日语的影响,网络发展对纸张销量的影响。它既考查学生对各种文体的理解,又考查对各个细节的掌握,对学生的课外知识面也是一种考验。另外, 文章语言简明地道, 原汁原味,少有国人修改的痕迹; 文章信息量大, 生词量大。因此, 建议从以下方面注意：

　　1、扩大阅读范围, 增大阅读量：大力提倡泛读；同时，从今年的高考试题看，一位考生的阅读范围越广泛知识涉猎面越宽，背景知识和生活阅历越丰富，阅读就越显容易； 在扩大阅读的同时要适当积累词汇，如常见词、热门词等都要记录下来、查阅字典并随时记忆；

　　2、进一步提高阅读速度：关于阅读，理解和速度密不可分，阅读速度制约着阅读能力的提高。因此，课下一定要进行限时阅读，争取课下的阅读状态接近于考场状态；每天都坚持读5篇左右。

　　3、熟悉各种体裁，不拘泥于手中的阅读资料，留心习语和俚语。有的学生一见到科普文章便头疼，一见到新体裁就心慌。所以，平时一定要走出成题，走入各种报刊、杂志等英语读物，除了领略内容，熟悉其语言特点，还要对新体裁有一定的了解。如要看各种广告信息、通告、药品说明、图示甚至发票等，做到心中有数。此外，读一些杂志如读者中的精品的翻译文章，有时也会大有裨益的。

　　4、力争通过最新的媒介，阅读更多的原汁原味的文章。利用网络资源或外国朋友推荐等，争取读原文或接近原文；也可以阅读外国学生写的短文，以此熟悉他们的写作风格和写作手法、语言运用、写作时的思维方式，体会与中文写作的不同。

　　IV. 写作：

　　高考写作的内容是学生所熟悉的如01年的减负，02年的公园对外开放，03年的房间摆设等，题意一目了然，不会导致误解离题。关于写作：

　　1、厚积累：积累词汇、短语、各种句式、常用连接词过渡语、各种文体的格式、习惯用语等；

　　2、常背诵：背诵名言、佳句、美段落好、范文；

　　3、勤练习：经常动笔，把平时的所学和积累有意识的运用到文章中；无论老师布置与否，每周至少写一篇，然后与参考答案对比，找出欠缺之处；

　　4、 讲方法：审题在先，然后在草稿纸上将要点及主要句式列出，连成句子；修改润色，注意上下衔接，注意句子结构；

　　5、 重书写：03年实行网上阅卷，更提高了对书写的要求，字一定要饱满圆润，大小适中，不要连笔；

　　V. 听力部分：

　　高考听力语速较快，语言清晰，具有很强的口语特点，而且，旨在测试考生理解口头英语的能力。

　　1、高考题型听力训练与泛听相结合；

　　2、注重听力解题技巧：听前略读题干与选项，预测听力内容，分析对比各个选项的不同之处，集中精力抓主要信息；对较长的对话或独白，要随手用数字符号或单词开头字母记录信息，以加深印象，有助于判断；

　　3、保持良好的心态，克服紧张情绪：这尤其在仅读一遍的前5题，一定要及早沉入题中，切忌因急躁而影响后面的内容和试题；

　　4、每天坚持听20----30分钟；

　　希望如上所述对同学们有所帮助, 祝同学们英语学习更上一层楼。
